Not a Word :)

She said not one word about my hair :) Yes! So, I didn't go with my original plan, but I tried something new...kind of. I wore my hair like this to work on Wednesday, but it was higher up and I didn't really like it. Yesterday, I got it exactly where I wanted it and was pretty surprised that the front was long enough to stay in the band. I like, but I know I'd have a headache if I wore my hair like this every day with that darn ouchless band, doubled.

Thanksgiving

After that last comment from Grandma, I'm really tempted to go to her house with a straight up fro tomorrow. But since I never wear those and don't know how to style it, I may just do a no product day. I could do some big braids and a braid out tomorrow, but I think the compacted look of a shrunken fro is a better statement. Definitely no products, maybe leave in a little conditioner. I'm thinking about parting it in the middle and doing afro puffs with the front halves. I'm preparing my speech as I type.
